Luka Lu obtained her law degree from Peking University and has the cutting edge legal knowledge and experience in banking and finance law, company law, government law, joint venture laws, wholly foreign-owned company law, intellectual property right law, tax law, labour law, etc.  She has helped to establish many foreign invested companies including joint ventures, wholly-foreign-owned companies, as well as holding companies, among which were in the fields of telecommunication, media, mining, medical care, beverage, media, aviation, etc.

Her area of work includes representing banks and financial institutions in their lending in China and launching their new financial products in China. She has worked on many listing projects and is also the long-term retainer appointed by many international companies and organizations to handle their daily corporate matters in China.  Luka Lu has been chosen to be included in the 2002 edition of Asia Law Leading Lawyers which is the only authoritative publishing book on leading Asian lawyers as one of the top 200 Asian lawyers.

In recent years, Luka has worked on many merger and acquisition projects for foreign companies, and was invited to deliver speeches regarding Chinese laws in various conferences including Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China, European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, Danish Chamber of Commerce in China, Benelux Chamber of Commerce, China-Australia Chamber of Commerce in Beijing, and China International Mining Group. She was also invited to deliver speeches regarding labour in the meeting organised by San Miguel International in Hong Kong. Also Luka Lu delivered speech in the Danish Chinese Business Forum convened in Denmark and had been invited for several times to participate in the discussions regarding law topics in CCTV-9.

Luka Lu was featured in the 2002 edition of AsiaLaw Leading Lawyers, which is the only authoritative publishing book on leading Asian lawyers.
