His specialization in cross-border legal, financial and development provides an extensive set of tools and resources to establish and grow business in emerging countries like China. His works span across a wide variety of sectors including power, infrastructure, transportation & logistics, real estate, IT and natural resources. As former international counsel with Garvey, Schubert & Barer, Tousley Brain, Holland & Knight, Cairncross & Hempelmann representing global firms such as China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO), CITIFOR, Mitsui Group, Obayashi Group, Shimizu Construction, Taiheiyo Cement, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, CH2M Hill, and Canada’s International Development Agency.
He graduated from the University of Washington’s undergraduate, graduate and law school programs in international commercial law and finance.
